This game is quite good. SMW is perfect until you get to world 5. Its probably the third or second best Mario game in the entire series. What happens past world 5? The difficulty gets too high and the game becomes an esoteric death contraption with many secrets. The music is repetitive. The art sprites are gorgeous. The artwork is the reason to play this. The gameplay is expanded past SMB3, but I don’t feel like Yoshi or the Super cape are worthy upgrades from Flower power or the Racoon suit. Enemies fill the screen and redraw too often. The football creatures are the worst thing in the game and I feel like it was just an attempt to get americans to buy it again. They are not fun. The power ups are unbalanced because flower power cannot kill larger enemies. It is missing the fun mushroom slot machine rooms. So SMB3 is obviously better than World. But its a good game, but not one you want to play to the end. Very imbalanced game-play near the end. 8/10 Now lets compare it to newer games. It is better than New SMB, but its not as good as Galaxy 2. Probably not better than #1 or N64’s. So it gets placed in a weird spot. You don’t really want to skip it, it might be a classic, but its not the greatest game ever in the long run. This is one of the reasons I don’t think SNES is the greatest console.

I will keep this Tumblr alive too, mostly with reposts, or whatever I’m into right now. I will see what does best for me. There is a possibility of diong 100% Tumblr, but my web domain gets quite a few hits.
